 Aikido martial art style was invented by O'Sensei Morihei Ueshiba. He practised different form of Japanese Jujutsu including Dato-Ryu Jujutsu and Japanese Sword, Kendo. Whilst in China he studied Xingyi and Bagua. The few palm attacks used in Aikido to distract are supposed to have their origin in Xingyi, whilst Aikido footsteps share remarkable similarities with Bagua, though Ueshiba claims they are derived from traditional Japanese dance.

Martial Arts Karate is originated in Okinawa, a Japanese island. It is supposed to be a blend of three different fighting styles: - Chinese White Crane Kungfu
- Chinese Southern Shaolin
- An okinawan form of pugilistic fighting and wrestling
It became famous as a method of fighting without weapons and is still trained today by the Japanese Secret Forces as their prime unarmed combat method, though they also train Aikido and Judo. |

Also known as: Wing Tsun or Ving Tsun Martial Art History: Orally passed down by teachers to students, no written documentation Origin: China Tenets of Wing Chun include practicality, efficiency and economy of movement. Wing Chun techniques emphasize practicality and efficiency to maintain its ideals on effectiveness. Strikes are intended to injure or disrupt the target. Efficiency in Wing Chun is based on the concept that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. This means that the strikes use are linear. They are focused on the centerline on the opponent, and are fired like cannons, one continuously after the other until the opponent is defeated. Wing Chun believes in using the least amount of required force in any fighting situation. |

Judo was founded by Jiguro Kano who had studies several form of japanese jujutsu previously. His style of Judo is called Kodokan Judo. Judo brought a revolution to Japanese martial arts as randori was included in daily practice. Randori is basically a kind of free sparring of judo techniques.
